Good morning all!
First an update on the baby...Our baby is, praise God, more stable than she was for most of last evening. But she is still struggling, and there are still a lot of un-answered questions about what caused all this to happen, what the next step to take is, whether she will live. Her vital organs are all greatly challenged by the severe anemia.
About 1 o'clock this morning she stabilized enough to be care-flighted to Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, and our Mary and Analiese's mother, Fabiola Holmes, are over there with the baby. They were allowed to spend a whole three hours with her last night and were even allowed to touch her! Please pray that Mary and Mrs. Holmes would be able to get some rest.
Now, an update on Analiese. She is doing much better emotionally now that things are looking up more, and she is determined to heal quickly so that she can see "her baby."Please continue to pray specifically that.
1.. All of the baby's vitals would continue to function and that they would in fact begin to function more fully. 2.. The baby would begin to breath better on her own. She is currently on a ventilator. 3.. The baby would not be anemic. This continues to be a serious problem. 4.. That Analiese would not worry about the baby 5.. That Analiese's body would heal quickly. Remember that aside from delivering the baby her body is still healing from the wreck.
Thanks to everybody who has prayed! We can feel your prayers and are certain that they the only thing that has kept our baby alive.
In Christ,Mark
