What a sweet husband I have! He is such a wonderful father, too!

He is working a temporary job that keeps him away from us more than his teaching did. It's so nice to get to have "family time" on the weekends!

Friday when James arrived home, he had beautiful pink roses and some bubble bath for me! (It had been a rough day for me, and he thought I might like to take a bubble bath!)

Thanks, James for being such a blessing to me and your little son!! We love you, and are grateful to God for you!

(don't forget to check out Patirck's blog! www.life-with-patrick.blogspot.com He has some new pictures up today as well!)

A few days ago I wrote out a nice long post....and then somehow deleted it :( I was not pleased.

James started a new temporary job this past week! It is going well. We are still adjusting though. It's different having him on a schedule like that!

Patrick started really crawling! Before he was just dragging himself around---but now he can go quite well on all fours! It's soooo cute!

Let's see....Wednesday I visited my friend who was in an accident. She was in Parkland hospital, and Patrick and I drove there. It was my second time to drive there, and it went much faster than the first time (I had a flat tire)

Thursday P and I attended a picnic of encouragement for ladies and girls (and two little baby boys who couldn't leave their mothers! :) ) It was such a nice time. I really enjoyed myself. One of the games was making a dress out of newspaper! What a blast! We also got our portraits taken. It was a grand time.

Today my friend (who I visited on Wed.) came home from the hospital!!! Praise the Lord! Yesterday marked 1 month since the accident--I think that's pretty amazing progress. Keep praying for Analiese. She still has a lot to recover from! Also, I appoligize if some of you have not received updates (those who requested them) please email me at james1052@hotmail.com and I'll add you to the list!

and I leave you with some photos of our boy, from our day today:

In Which Patrick's diaper is hanging rather low....

My little darling all wet! This picture is actually not from today. Patrick loves to play with "his spices" as we call them! :) he takes the things out of the baskets and shakes them etc.......... very cute indeed!

Yesterday evening we enjoyed visiting with the Wahlquist family!!

Our babies were born just about a month apart....Patrick is our first and Stephen is their eighth. It was so fun to see them together!

Micah and Patrick. I remember when Micah was a baby!

Other News:

James will be starting a temp. job on Monday! Praise the Lord! James has been looking for a part time or full time job. This one, while not either is a big blessing! :)

Guess what interesting thing I found out this week?!

James was born at 4:58 pm

I was born at 8:58 am

and our son was born at 1:58 am

Hmmm....wonder if we could keep up that "tradition" with all the members of our family ;)

Labor Day 2006

What a sweet and wonderful day it has been with the little Gallagher family three!

Favorite things from today:

Relaxing around the house

Riding in the front seat of the car with James, and Patrick being content all alone in the back in his rear facing car seat!

Our precious time at the park together.....eating at the picnic table (with P sitting on the table!).....James feeding the ducks and watching Patrick see them....James and Patrick going down the slide together for the first time ever....Patrick swinging and LOVING it....

Sitting in my comfy chair in a blanket with magazines and a cup of tea near by....and then taking a nap in said chair.

.....and right now I'm looking forward to watching the movie (s) my husband went to get!!!!

HAPPY SEPTEMBER EVERYONE!

Thank you God for my family and our wonderful life together that You have given us. I am so blessed, and very happy!

Memories & Scents

Isn't it interesting how different smells can remind you of different times in your life?
For instance:
A certain lotion I have "liquid pajamas" reminds me of this time in my life~ December '05.
When I open that bottle and take a sniff, I think back to the home of the Suarez family, Christmas 2005 and sitting in the Special Care Nursery of Medical Center of McKinney. Sometimes I smell it, just so I can remember!

And the smell of Old Spice reminds me of years worth of memories with this cute fella! ;) I love you James!!!

I think he likes me, too! ;)

Mmmm....I love the smell of fresh air in my kitchen! Having my window or doors open just makes the day seem so much cheery-er :)
