Goodbye to Our Baby...

Wednesday I went in for a sonogram, because I had been having some bleeding. They couldn't find a heartbeat for our little baby. I saw it on the screen, but apparently it wasn't really there. our teeny tiny little person from our family had gone on to Heaven to be with Jesus. The sonogram place was right near James' work, so Patrick and I went over there to see him afterwards.

I'd already started a file of "momentos" for Baby Number 2's scrapbook. I had printed emails of congratulations, the card from the flowers James sent me--that afternoon I added another thing. The pictures from the sonogram. It was so final. Like a funeral. I was putting something in our babies folder that meant it was the end of our baby's life.....such a short little life. Not quite 8 weeks old even. We loved our little baby.....and we will always hold our precious little baby in our hearts.

After the Wedding L-R around the table - Rachel, Jedidiah (can't really see him) James and Patrick, Carolyn, Jason and two friends of Trishas.

The day after the wedding, my brother proposed to Rachel! They are planning to be married December 30th. I'll try to post some photos of them later!

Thanksgiving Day!

It's our tradition to have breakfast in bed! James made it this year, and it was very good! (and so pretty!) Thanks James! :)

Our little Family of Turkeys :)

Me and My Baby

Our Thanksgiving Dinner--My mom made all of it and brought it to our house--and even made it low fat so that I could eat it! It was wonderful!! Thanks, Mama!

Then we all went to the Gallaghers for more wonderful food! Sadly our little family left early, and in quite a rush, because Patrick seemed to be having a reaction. Thankfully we had taken along his medicine, and Mom had some benadryl--so by the time we had driven some of the way home, he was MUCH better.

It was such a lovely day! Thank you God!
