Two years ago today: we were 2 weeks and 2 days away from getting married!
we got our marriage license and did some other wedding errands.

Patrick ~ 6 months old

The sermon on Sunday was about Job. I like the book of Job. Just that morning I had been working on a letter to my MIL about an event in our life that didn't go as planned, was difficult and has things we don't understand or really "know why" they all happened.
However, God sends trials, and they are for our good! We won't always understand them though.
I was convicted about two things. One was the attitude I've had about my gallbladder. Often it's not been very good--Something one of the men said after the sermon really convicted me about it. I've had an attitude sort of like "I shouldn't have to live with this" when really, that's not for me to say. God loves me, and is interested in good things for me, and I need to trust Him and find joy in Him no matter what---plus not worry about "What If" I get sick again.

Here is a photo from last week. My mom paid James to give their kittens away. Patrick and I didn't help give them away, but we did go visit Daddy and bring him some lunch (and go to Big Lots! :) )

Six months ago today, a very special thing happened to us...

This little man joined our family!!!

It's amazing how fast the time has gone by--and at the same time how long ago it seems that he was born! Patrick has filled our lives with so much love and happiness. We are so thankful to God for blessing us with him. Happy Half a Year, Paddy! We love you!!!
