Analiese and Alaina Update

Official stats of Matthew and Analiese's baby girl:
>Her name is Alaina Faith
>She weighed 5lbs. 12oz. and is 18 1/2" long
>>She is still "critical", but the doctors are much more confident than they
>were last night. The very fact that she made it through last night
>(Wednesday) is very encouraging and really nothing less than a miracle.
>>There have been some good improvements throughout the morning/afternoon.
>She is still on a ventilator, but is doing a lot more breathing on her own.
> She was getting 100% oxygen early this morning but she down to receiving
>53% now and doing well. They have given her 125 mL of blood since last >night, which is the typical amount of blood that a baby her size has in her
>body. It is still unclear what is happening to the blood. She has had
>some amount of blood in her urine but a sonogram this afternoon didn't
>reveal any significant amount of internal bleeding. It is still unclear
>to her doctors the underlying cause for her condition. Please pray for
>wisdom and discernment for the doctors as they are treating Alaina. And
>also for Matthew and Analiese as they will need to make decisions for how
>to best care for their little girl.
>>Different family members have been able to be with her today. We have been
>allowed to touch her and talk to her but not to hold her yet. She has been
>sedated until around noon time. Up to that point they just wanted her to
>rest and be calm, now they would like to see how much activity they can get
>from her. There is concern about the amount of time that she was not
>receiving adequate oxygen and the possible long term affects from that.
>The doctors would like to see her moving more on her own, opening her eyes
>in response to stimulus, stretching, etc.
>>Analiese is continuing to do well, although she has not had much sleep
>since Monday. She was told that there is a chance that she will be
>released tomorrow morning. She is excited about this possibility as she is
>very much wanting to be with Alaina. Please pray that she would be given
>extra strength and peace during this hard time and she would continue to
>heal well and get some much needed sleep.
>>Also pray for Matthew as he is trying to take care of his family and keep
>his business going at the same time. He is very tired and is feeling
>stretched in many different directions. Natalie is also missing her mommy
>very much and knows that something is not quite right. Please pray that
>she and Kyle both will be comforted during this time of separation from
>their parents.
>>Our entire family appreciates the many phone calls and emails that you have
>sent our way. You are an encouragement to us and we are very blessed to
>have such a wonderful group of family and friends that will cry out for
>God's mercy and healing with us for our littlest Hutchins girlie and her
>mama.
>>Coveting your continued prayers,
>Mary for the whole family
